The Collision Prevention System Host as the core: A comprehensive active vehicle safety protection system.

Release Date :2026-09-20

1、Core Component: Collision Avoidance System Host (the "brain" of the entire solution)

image.png

The collision avoidance system host serves as the core control unit for the entire active safety system; all data collected by the sensing devices is aggregated at this host for computational analysis and decision-making.

It receives multiple signals from LiDAR, high-definition perception cameras, and DMS cameras, and employs an in-house developed multi-source fusion algorithm to real-time analyze the distance to obstacles ahead, relative vehicle speed, and lane information, while simultaneously detecting hazardous driving behaviors such as driver fatigue, distraction, eye closure, or using a mobile phone.

l When external risks such as a forward collision or lane departure are detected, or when the driver exhibits signs of fatigue or distraction, an alert warning is issued;

l If the driver fails to take timely risk-avoidance measures, the main control unit sends a command to the brake actuation component, triggering the AEBS automatic emergency braking system, which applies braking force in a tiered manner to prevent a collision or minimize accident-related damage;

l Industrial-grade reinforced housing, featuring seismic and electromagnetic interference resistance, designed to withstand harsh in-vehicle operating conditionsincluding road vibrations, extreme temperature fluctuations, and dusty or humid environmentsensuring stable operation in mining, port, and construction site applications.

l The entire system's early warning strategies, risk assessment logic, and brake activation thresholds are centrally managed by the collision avoidance system's main unit, enabling coordinated operation across all devices and preventing logical conflicts, false alarms, or missed detections that could arise from the independent operation of individual components.

II. Integrated supporting hardware works in synergy with the main unit to enable comprehensive security monitoring across all dimensions.

1. Vehicle-mounted video system MINI Host

As a video storage and local display terminal, it communicates data with the collision avoidance system host.

Captures video feeds from multiple vehicle-mounted cameras, performs video encoding, local storage, and event recording. When the collision avoidance system triggers a collision warning or an AEB braking event, the MINI host automatically locks the video footage from both before and after the incident, supporting event playback.

This device enables fleet managers to easily access driving records for safety reviews and accident root-cause analysis; its compact size and flexible cab installation allow for multi-channel video input, making it ideal for use on compact buses, forklifts, and specialized vehicles.

2. Waterproof DMS Camera

Driver status monitoring sensor unit; signals are transmitted to the collision avoidance system host.

The waterproof body design is suitable for humid and dusty cab environments; it captures the driver's facial image in real time to detect unsafe driving behaviors such as driver fatigue, making phone calls, closing eyes, looking down (indicating distraction), or failing to wear a seatbelt.

Upon detecting hazardous driving behavior, the data is uploaded to the collision avoidance control unit, which then triggers an audible and visual warning. This expansion extends the system's scope from "monitoring external vehicle risks" to "maneuvering-related driving hazards," thereby addressing the gap in human-factor risk monitoring within the active safety framework.

3. Escort Perception Module (3D LiDAR + High-Definition Camera)

Vehicle External Environmental Perception Unit: Provides the host with raw external environmental data.

This system employs a remote 3D main LiDAR unit combined with a close-range supplementary radar unit, paired with high-definition perception cameras, to perform all-weather scanning of the road ahead and detect vehicles, pedestrians, non-motorized vehicles, and static obstacles.

Radar and visual fusion data are uploaded in real time to the collision avoidance system's host unit, which performs target classification, distance measurement, and collision risk assessment; even under adverse operating conditionssuch as heavy rain, dense fog, dust, or backlightingthe sensing components continue to reliably transmit data, providing dependable input for the host unit's risk assessment.

Other interconnected execution components

The main unit can be connected to a wire-controlled proportional valve, a junction controller, an early-warning interactive terminal, or a dedicated wiring harness bracket. Upon receiving a braking command from the main unit, the wire-controlled proportional valve executes a staged braking process; the junction controller simplifies the wiring for multiple devices and reduces electromagnetic interference; the early-warning terminal is used to issue audible and visual alerts to the driver.

III. Overall System Operational Logic (with the Collision Prevention Host as the Core)

1.Multi-device perception and data acquisition: LiDAR and high-definition cameras capture the road environment; a waterproof DMS camera monitors the driver's status;

2.Data aggregation and upload: All sensing data are transmitted to the collision avoidance system host; the onboard MINI video host synchronously records the entire driving scene;

3.Host AI Analysis: The collision prevention system integrates multi-source data to simultaneously assess external collision risks and the driver's status;

4.Tiered Early Warning Intervention:

l Low risk: The host issues a command, and the warning terminal provides an audible and visual alert to the driver;

l Emergency risk with no driver intervention: The main unit drives the remote-controlled proportional valve to activate the AEBS automatic emergency braking system;

5.Event recording retention: The MINI vehicle's onboard system automatically records event videos for fleet safety management and forensic purposes.
